Cookie Policy
Last updated: Sep 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies PDFCraft (https://snapdfhub.com) uses and why. Because the Service only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, no consent banner is shown.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember information between requests, such as whether you are signed in. Related technologies include browser storage (localStorage), which stores preferences on your device without sending them to a server.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
pc_session |
Keeps you signed in. Contains a random token linked to a server-side session; it does not contain your password. | 30 days (removed when you log out) | Strictly necessary |
pc_guest |
Random identifier for anonymous visitors so that server-side jobs and rate limits can be associated with your browser without an account. | 90 days | Strictly necessary |
pc_locale |
Remembers the language you selected. | 1 year | Preference (functional) |
All cookies are set with the HttpOnly (where applicable), SameSite=Lax and, over HTTPS, Secure attributes.
Browser storage
The theme setting (light, dark or system) is kept in your browser's localStorage under the key pdfcraft-theme and is never sent to our servers. The PDF editor and browser-side tools keep the documents you open in memory only; nothing is written to persistent storage.
Third-party cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If the operator has enabled a CAPTCHA provider to protect forms, that provider may set its own cookies when the challenge is displayed on the sign-up or contact pages; refer to the provider's policy for details. When you pay for a plan you are redirected to Stripe, which uses cookies on its own pages according to Stripe's cookie policy.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in, and blocking the guest cookie may prevent server-side tools from working.
Changes
We will update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the most recent revision.
